Food for Fines Week
February 9 - 13, 2010
Your help is needed! Bring in a non-perishable food item from the list below and the Lawrence Library will forgive your fines. This is good for old fines or fines incurred during this week. This offer is not good for lost material charges. All items will be donated to PACH. Accepted donation items may include: Non-perishable food: canned meats and fruit, tuna, peanut butter, jelly, pasta sauces, cereal, paper goods, etc.
Alzheimer's Program
Wednesday, February 10th, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Julie McMurray of the Alzheimer's Association will cover: an overview of Alzheimer's disease, how to get a diagnosis, finding local resources, and dealing with behavior and communications problems. The program is free and open to the public but registration is required.

Baby Hats

Spread some love and warmth by knitting or crocheting hats for newborns. We will have patterns, and some donated yarn (new, baby weight acrylic yarn in pastels must be used.) If you can supply your own yarn, that would be great! Anyone who loves to knit or crochet is welcome - all ages. The hats will be donated to Emerson Hospital in Concord. No registration necessary.
Preschool Information Fair

Preschool registrations begin soon. Don't miss this opportunity to visit with area preschool representatives to help you find the right school for your toddler. This is a great chance to compare several preschools in just one location! Free and open for EVERYONE to attend!
