A Constellation of Stories and Songs
Wed. July 15 @ 3:30 PM

Parents' Choice award winning performers Davis Bates & Roger Ticknell will wow you with a special music & storytelling program which draws from a variety of cultural traditions. Hear how the stars came to be in the sky, why the bear missed the train, sing a dancing dog to sleep with a starry lullaby, and be prepared to sing, move and dance. There will even be a short lesson in how to play the spoons. This participatory concert will be a delight for all ages. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs as we'll be on the front lawn.
Please Register online.

Star Wars Lego Display
June 20- July 23

To kick off the 2009 Summer Reading Program, Starship Adventure at Your Library, Rip Carr and Nate Danti are exhibiting over 20 spaceship Lego projects in a Star Wars Diorama. They have been working on this diorama for several years. Roughly half of the projects in this 8 X 8 foot diorama are originals, while the others are made from available Lego kits. Some projects, like the Republic Drop Ship, are over a 1000 pieces. The diorama will be on display until Noon July 24th. Stop by and check out the display case, too.
