Teen Book Review of the Month
Title: The Catcher in the Rye
Author: J.D. Salinger
Rating: 4 out of 5
This is a really good coming of age story. The plot is simple, but the main character's narration turns it into a wonderful novel. Holden Caulfield tells you his story after he drops out of four different high schools. He is an interesting character, and I doubt the book would be nearly as good if he hadn't narrated it. If you're a person who does not read much, this is a good book for you because it is short. If you read a lot, it would make a good rainy day or fireside book.
